    On the last Sunday in April, the grounds of Togus were quiet. So quiet, in fact, that you could hear at least six species of birds calling, competing with spring peepers. The land is easy walking distance to Togus, yet feels a world away from the acres of brick buildings and parking lots.

    For the Merry Month of May​, YelpMaine has partnered with Market Street Eats to promote the Smashterpiece Sammich​. A portion of the proceeds from every sandwich goes to Volunteers of America.

    Yesterday at Bates College, sixteen students broke into groups of 4, each with a coach, and spent the afternoon in role play scenarios where two students played parties in conflict with each other and the other two played co-mediators.
