The Treasure House Program at Harbor Place, in the heart of Belfast ME, is home to six adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Services are provided by trained Direct Support Professionals. Treasure House provides supported living and education to residents to address all domains of life skills, interpersonal interaction, community activities. We seek to promote self-direction, with a resident choice as a leading factor in all that we do.
Additionally, our program works to reduce isolation, enhance life satisfaction, and increase autonomy. This program supports the individuals with all activities of daily living, based on their needs, and as outlined in their Person-Centered Plans. Support required will range from role-modeling, verbal and physical prompting, or total care. Support with medications, meal planning and preparation, hygiene, and transportation to appointments and social activities are inclusive, as per the individual’s needs.
