Chaplain's Prayer for week beginning March 27, 2017
by Chaplain Intern, Tom Kircher
Holy One, Holy Mystery, you whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere – unbounded by time and space, above and below, within and without – bless your Creation, bless this moment in time as we seek to see with eyes unblinded that which is everywhere around us.
At this time and in this place we call to you from the very depths of our hearts, clothed as we are in our human frailties and prejudices, yet knowing that you see beneath our poverty to that which shares the very essence of your Being.
Help us, too, to see this Holy Indwelling Mystery within ourselves, within each other, and within all Creation – your Divine Love, your emerging Realm of peace and justice.
This is our prayer, in the name of Christ our King.
