Homelessness Happens in York County.
Help us find our neighbors who need help because everyone counts!
Homeless Survey/Assistance Stations
The York County Military Community Network will be helping the Department of Housing and Urban Development identify homeless individuals/families (Veterans and nonVeterans) to make sure that they are counted so that a fair-share of resources are sent to York County to assist them. As part of our initiative, we will use a Mobile Vet Center to distribute non perishable food, winter clothing and supplies to those in need. We will also have benefits and mental health professionals available who can assist with referrals to benefits, resources and services. Our two locations are:
Sanford: Wednesday January 25th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the NAPA Auto Supply Store, Main Street, Sanford, Maine
Biddeford: Thursday January 26th from 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Seeds of Hope Center, 35 South Street, Biddeford, Maine
Thursday January 26th from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Canopy Park Center, 46 Sullivan Street
