The Maine Agricultural Mediation Program / Community Mediation Services will be exhibiting at the Ag Trade Show next week.
We'll be at booth #67 at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday 1.10, Wednesday 1.11, & Thursday 1.12.
Stop by the booth, meet staff and a few of our volunteer mediators and pick up your highly sought after 2017 calendar.
Wednesday, 1.11, from 4 - 5 pm in the Hancock Room, for the Beginning Farmers Resource Network, Elaine Bourne will be facilitating the following session:
Learn from Farmers: "Hitting our stride and becoming profitable!" Facilitated conversation with farmers age 30+, 40+, 50+ in business for 4-6 years.
Thursday 1.12 Elaine is one of the speakers for the "Effective Communication Strategies for Farm Management" Beginning Farmers Resource Network session taking place in the Lincoln Room from 10 - 11:30 am. The program description is:
A time to discuss issues that arise on the farm with respect to communication among business partners, family members, etc. Suggestions for "best practices" on farm, and basics of how to build your communication tools to better listen and convey your ideas. |
