Greetings to our staff from June Koegel, President/CEO

This is so obvious in the work we are doing in providing safe homes and hope for those we serve with severe and persistent mental illness. The quality of the care and the integrity of the clinical model is what sets us apart. Each of you, our employees on the front lines, have huge hearts and a commitment to serving individuals that society has forgotten or given up on. There is a quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe that exemplifies the difference each of you are making with your tenacity and enduring advocacy:

"When you get into a tight space, and everything goes against you till it seems as if you couldn't hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that's just the place and time the tide'll turn."

You inspire me, our volunteers who visit and the families of those we care for to view these individuals with a new perspective. You care for them with love and you give them a new sense of HOME. You create a new framework for them and show them that they are worthy of your compassion and are a valued human being. You inspire others to come to work with us. You set the bar for other providers. You inspire our funders to see the potential. Your work is nothing short of exemplary.

Thank you for following your passion, being willing to take risks and for opening up your hearts to men and women who need love in their lives.

June
