Huot House Advisory Council Celebrates Veterans

Huot House Advisory Council Treats Veterans

Veterans from the Huot House and the Veterans Career House were in attendance as well as the Advisory Council members and some past Huot House alumni. Pam Payeur of Wounded Heroes of Maine and Advisory Council member brought food donated from Famous Dave's BBQ in Scarborough and gave out nice fleece coats for staff and Vets from Cabela's. Other Advisory Council members provided drinks, food, and desserts as well.

Don Lauzier and Bob Quentin (both Advisory Council members) of Biddeford Saco Savings donated wonderful stadium blankets to staff and Vets. Nancy Kelley of Hugs of Love/Gold Star Mothers/Run for Cash donated hygiene products, gift cards, and goodies to the Vets. It was an amazing day filled with laughter, thankfulness, love and most of all good will towards all.

We are TRULY blessed to have the commitment, support, and compassion for our Vets by so many various community and organization members and the Huot House Advisory Council is top notch!
