We were thrilled to spend a gorgeous Sunday in Hallowell on the Kennebec River!

We listened to music, saw great arts and crafts, and talked to people about Camp POSTCARD at Hallowell's Second Annual Woodstock Revival.

The Hallowell Area Board of Trade (HABOT) contacted us in the springtime to see if we would be interested in their sponsorship of Camp POSTCARD and our affiliation grew from there. We have so enjoyed the dedication and pride that the HABOT folks have within their community, and the generosity they have shown us.

So many people came out to be with friends and neighbors on a perfect relaxing Sunday. It seemed like hundreds came by our table to say hello and learn about Camp. We loved answering their questions and even had Nathan and Edwin, former POSTCARD Campers, with us who had their own wonderful perspectives and stories to add.

Proceeds from the sales of the "Postcards for Peace," (that festival goers painted) will sponsor Campers at Camp POSTCARD 2017 from June 16-23.

Pictured at our table are our two campers, Nathan and Edwin, and the HABOT folks, Maggie, Dave, Ruth and Jeannie.

We want to thank Hallowell businesses for opening their doors to us. Meeting them and being part of the day was a highlight of our summer.

We were so lucky to have our table close to the musicians' stage and found ourselves singing along and tapping our feet to well loved songs.

An awesome day to remember for everyone.
