10x10 Auction Submissions

^{VOA is seeking donations of original artwork from Maine artists for the 10x10 Art Auction. The public and individuals of any age are invited to submit art for this exhibit. Submissions must be received by 4 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023. The art pieces can be dropped off at the locations listed below. Late submissions may be reserved for future events at the discretion of VOA. Registration information is below. The number of participants is limited to the space in the gallery at Bangor Arts Exchange.}

^{Art submissions are recommended to be 10-inch x 10-inch BUT are not required to be that size. All mediums are welcome. Your work may be 3-dimensional. The work must still hang flat on the wall. The submission may or may not be framed and is at the artists' discretion. All pieces must be submitted with wire or hooks and be ready to hang.}

^{Your work must be original. Artists are responsible for ensuring that there are no copyright issues or other legal issues attached to images used or the subjects of their submission. All submissions must be suitable for all audiences. VOA reserves the right to reject submissions that include but are not limited to gratuitously violent, sexually suggestive, vulgar, or otherwise explicitly offensive.}

^{All submitted pieces are considered donations and become the property of VOA. VOA has the right to display images of the artwork at its discretion for marketing purposes. All proceeds raised by the sale of the artwork are the sole property of VOA and will be used for charitable purposes. Unsold pieces remain the property of VOA and may be reserved for future events at the discretion of VOA.}

A book will be on display for artist statements/bio. Please limit the information to 350 words.}

^{Best in Show:
Participating artists will vote for the best-in-show entry at the opening of the auction. The award is TBD and will be given to the recipient at the end of the evening.}
