    Paul Hazelton House is a 35-unit affordable senior housing facility located in a quiet neighborhood near Thornton Academy in the historic river city of Saco, Maine.

The facility is named in honor of the late Paul Hazelton, a Saco native, Thornton alumnus and trustee, and professor at Bowdoin College. Paul Hazelton House is a smoke free complex ideally located close to shopping, restaurants, a library, and churches — and features garden and patio areas, a computer lab, intergenerational programs with local schools, and in-home support services to allow aging in place.
  • Age criteria: Applicants must be 62 years of age or older and the head of the household.
  • Income criteria: Income limits apply. Income criteria vary by region and are recalculated annually.
