Because everyone deserves a safe and welcoming place to call home.

At Volunteers of America, we offer men and women with severe mental illness a safe and supportive environment that meets their unique needs. For many of these individuals, it is a major step to greater independence.
Group Homes:
These residents live in a group setting with between four and six individuals. Each resident has their own room. In some cases, units are reserved for individuals whose mental illness precludes them from living in a group setting and to whom we provide one-on-one recovery-based model services. All of our group homes provide 24-hour on-site care, 365 days a year.

Scattered Site Program:
The Scattered Site Program provides services for people living with severe chronic mental illness. We currently staff five apartments and serve six residents by supporting them one on one twenty four hours a day with medication management, accessing community supports and creating opportunities for growth.
