For the past seven years Volunteers of America Northern New England (VOANNE) has engaged in senior safety efforts throughout Maine.

In Maine's MidCoast area, the Elder Victim Assitance Program (EVAP) gathers professionals to review and respond to elder abuse cases. For more information, click here.

Statewide, the Elder Justice Training Partnership (EJTP) is a three year effort to train law enforcement, prosecutors and judges about elder abuse issues. Our project partners are also working to identify improvments in systems that serve elder victims. For more information, click here.
