The conversation paralleled a discussion taking place in Washington at the same time, and was broadcast live to the local Portland audience in a new technological endeavor for Volunteers of America.

Unique Summer Camp Helps Maine Youth see their Potential and Live a Healthy Lifestyle
From June 18 through June 24, approximately 150 chosen Maine fifth and sixth graders and more than 60 law enforcement and criminal justice professionals from across the state will gather at Camp POSTCARD (Police Officers Striving To Create And Reinforce Dreams) for a fun- and education-filled week of summer camp.

Dedication Ceremony for New Affordable Senior Housing Community
Volunteers of America Northern New England celebrated the official dedication of the Miller Square on Harlow today at 1:30 p.m. The celebration took place at Miller Square on Harlow which is a new 55-unit high quality affordable senior housing community in Bangor.

United Way of York County Grant Helps Ensure Seniors Receive Nutritious Food
Funding for Let's Eat!, a food security program for low-income senior residents at Paul Hazelton House in Saco, Maine, was recently renewed with a $2,400 grant from United Way of York County.
